I am from Gaza. I used to live in the north and was displaced to the south. My house was completely destroyed. I now live in a tent with my father, who is elderly and has chronic diseases, and we cannot provide the necessary treatment for him. Many children who lost their childhood live with us and we cannot provide them with their minimum rights of food and clean water. We live with 16 adults and children in one tent. We are now without work or home.

I’m Mahmoud Abu Samaan, a citizen of Gaza, [we were] displaced in Rafah with my family includes my wife, Maha "skilled mathematics teacher", as well as three daughters who came to life after suffering with treatment, medical operations, and through IVF. And so is my only son, Ahmed. I lost my father and brother, my house, my job. I lost my brother in this war as a result of Israeli bombing, and my father lost his life due to the lack of medical resources for dialysis patients.

My name is Naji Altayib, I am from Gaza, currently I live in Canada, I am reaching out to you in hopes of helping me evacuate my family especially my grandmother who has a heart disease and requires medical assistance, she has a machine in her heart that helps the blood flow normally through her body, this machine is replaced every 5 years usually she would go to Isreal to change it since this medical assistance is not provided in Gaza however due to the the war she won’t be able to change it, she is currently very tired and I have to try to help evacuate her as soon as possible somehow…

About Fundraising Goals
Although the Rafah crossing is closed and evacuations are not possible at this time, we are continuing to keep our campaign list active and continuing to support our families. If evacuation is not possible or if a family decides not to evacuate for any reason, the funds will reach the families regardless, and they will be used for their needs to survive in Gaza. We are reaching out to resources to identify additional ways to provide support aside from evacuations. In the meantime, please keep donating to our families & share widely.
